catalysts

Sodium tetralopalladate, molecular formula Na2PdCl4, molecular weight 294.21, brown crystalline powder, Cas No: 13820-53-6,Pd 36.0%, density: 2.738 g/mL, iron (Fe) content 0.005% nitrate (NO3-1) content 0.005%, soluble in water, dry sealed storage at room temperature. Sodium tetrachloroligand is an inorganic compound that, together with a similar alkali metal salt in the form of M2PdCl4, can be simply prepared in an aqueous solution by reacting palladium (II) chloride with an appropriate alkali metal chloride. Palladium chloride (II) is insoluble in water. 3H2O, reddish-brown powder, 348.22 molar mass) is crystallized from water in a commercial form. The compound can further react with phosphine to form palladium phosphine complexes. Another way to prepare such phosphine complexes is to decompose the coordination polymer of palladium chloride into reactive, monomeric acetonitrile or benzenitrile complexes, which then react with phosphine.
