Recently, the construction of the green oxidant hydrogen peroxide and upstream/downstream industrial chain project of Guizhou Kaidisen New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. has entered its final sprint stage, with trial production scheduled to start in April this year. Notably, the core process of the project — the all-acidic fixed-bed anthraquinone process hydrogen peroxide production unit — adopts high-performance palladium-alumina catalysts supplied by our company, Shaanxi Kaida Chemical Co., Ltd. This marks another industry recognition of our company’s technological strength and product reliability in the field of chemical catalysis, providing critical technical support for the smooth progress of the project.

Deepening Core Technologies, Serving Major Industrial Projects

The Guizhou Kaidisen New Energy Materials project plans an annual total capacity of 2 million tons of industrial-grade hydrogen peroxide and high-end special hydrogen peroxide, supported by complete industrial chain facilities including natural gas-to-hydrogen production. It is a key part of the new energy materials industrial layout in Weng’an Area. Upon completion, the project will effectively meet the huge demand for hydrogen peroxide from the surrounding iron phosphate production capacity of over 2 million tons per year, and is expected to save about 100 million yuan in transportation costs for local industries annually.

The advanced production process of this project imposes extremely high requirements on catalyst performance, and the high-efficiency hydrogen peroxide catalyst developed by our company serves as the core support. Featuring highly active palladium-based active components, the catalyst is tailored for the all-acidic fixed-bed anthraquinone process, with a hydrogenation efficiency ≥85%, selectivity to hydrogen peroxide ≥99.6%, a continuous service life ≥8,000 hours, and a consumption rate ≤0.04 kg per ton of hydrogen peroxide (far below the industrial standard of 0.08 kg/ton). This catalyst can help customers reduce hydrogen consumption by 10%. Based on the Phase I Stage 1 capacity of 300,000 tons per year, it will save approximately 1.8 million standard cubic meters of hydrogen annually, significantly improving project efficiency.

Driven by Technological Innovation, Enhancing Customer Competitiveness

Centered on technological innovation, Shaanxi Kaida Chemical has provided a mature catalyst optimized for the anthraquinone process, with core indicators leading the industry: particle size 2.0–3.0 mm, bulk density 0.45±0.03 g/mL, and compressive strength ≥40 N/P. It has been successfully applied in multiple 200,000–500,000 ton/year units, and has been recognized by customers for its stable performance and energy-saving effects.

Notably, our technical team conducted in-depth technical exchanges with the customer in the early stage of the project, providing customized catalyst solutions based on the unit characteristics. We optimized the catalyst loading scheme for Kaidisen’s 300,000 ton/year hydrogen peroxide reactor, and provided full-process technical support during project implementation, ensuring perfect matching between the catalyst and the production process and offering strong guarantee for the smooth progress of the project.
