Travel Notes of Guizhou in 2020

 Every summer, I would embark on a company-organized trip, and every trip was such an unforgettable memory. If every beautiful moment of the previous trip was made into a photo and framed into a thick and exquisite photo album, it would definitely be a poster promotion for a movie, which was beautiful. And this trip to Guiyang was especially impressive.
         Due to the impact of the epidemic in the first half of the year, people have been quarantined at home for a long time. Even after the official resumption of work, the tight string of the epidemic has not loosened. However, it is because of this strict and cautious anti-epidemic measures and attitude that all walks of life have been able to recover quickly. At the end of July, when inter-provincial tourism just opened, we embarked on this trip to Guiyang. This trip added luster to the life that seemed a little monotonous due to the epidemic this year.
         On July 24th at around 5 am, we set off before dawn, and this was the starting point of this trip.

Here are the two most impressive attractions:

Mount Fanjing

Fanjing Mountain is a famous Buddhist ashram and nature reserve in China. As the name suggests, it is a pure land on earth, like a fairyland, away from the world and the hustle and bustle. Fanjing Mountain is mainly divided into two peaks, the old golden peak and the red cloud golden peak. The most famous of these is the red cloud golden peak, which consists of two closely connected mountain peaks. Each of the two peaks has a Taoist temple connected by a stone bridge in the middle. Walking on it, surrounded by threads of clouds, the sun penetrates the clouds and gives a layer of golden color to the lush trees. However, in order to see such a breathtaking beauty, it is necessary to take a long cable car ride first. This cable car is the most shocking I have ever sat on, because the foot of Mount Fanjing is a canyon of abyss, and from the moment you step on the cable car, it flies towards the clouds. On the steep rock walls, every inch is covered with lush vegetation, like a green carpet woven by nature, which is given to this absolute cliff of Mount Fanjing, which makes people sigh at the tenacity and endless life. In this forest, I can accidentally catch a glimpse of a thin flowing mountain spring jumping on the cliff. Soon, the valley is deeper, and the sky seems to be within reach. Looking down, the mountains are undulating, and the distant peaks are already submerged in clouds. If he hadn't seen the black cables that extended to the end of his field of vision, he would have thought he was in the cabin of the plane.
         The cable car reached a platform, where the smoky Red Cloud Golden Top and the Old Golden Top could be seen clearly. But if you want to "see the small mountains", you still have to rely on your own legs to reach the top.
Our group of people went up to the old golden top, which was more than a hundred meters higher than the red cloud golden top. The stone steps on the mountain were very narrow and steep, and at the end, it was basically necessary to hold a rope on the stone wall with both hands and walk sideways. This road can only accommodate one person, walking through the seams of huge rocks on both sides, and only a line of sky can be seen overhead. Moreover, since there are pedestrians before and after, it is impossible to see how far the road ahead is, and there is no way to retreat. On the other side of the road, cool spring water poured down from the cracks in the mountains and drizzled on us, making our clothes and hair soaked. And this spring water also causes moss to grow on the steps under your feet, making the steep mountain road even more dangerous, and you may fall into the abyss if you are not careful.
The road ahead is long and always full of difficulties and obstacles, but only by persevering until the last moment can you appreciate the beauty of the top of the mountain and know that the hardships along the way are worth it. Standing above the sea of clouds, the sky above your head is that pure blue. The mountains that originally towered into the clouds are now under your feet, looming in the clouds, like reefs emerging from the waves. Looking at the horizon obsessively, I remember the saying "If you live in Mount Brahma for a long time, you will become an immortal", and I can't help but fantasize about the palace made of white clouds and gilded with sunlight.
         If there is such a pure land in the world, it is really no different from a fairyland.
